The Time Traveler Convention

OK, so someone over at MIT has spiked the punch. Someone from THE FUTURE! One of the eggheads there (meant in the most endearing manner possible) had the brilliant inspiration to host a Time Traveler Convention. Here’s the invite. And here are the exact space-time coordinates:

May 7, 2005, 10:00pm EDT (08 May 2005 02:00:00 UTC)
East Campus Courtyard, MIT
42:21:36.025°N, 71:05:16.332°W
(42.360007,-071.087870 in decimal degrees)

It’s a shame I live so far away from Boston now. I never thought I would ever say that, but the idea of attending the greatest gathering of intrepid time travellers in all of history is appealling. Just think, 08 May 2005 02:00:00 UTC might well be the moment to which future time spelunkers calibrate their chronometers! Tally ho!!

NOTE: I found this awesome website through the above craziness: The Infinite Cat Project. Check it!

Ah, Lars…Looking over your well designed blog I am ever so reminded that you still write like Al Gore talks… but we still miss you.

Tom & Erin are getting hitched in August, Jenni’s moving in on Thursday, DeLuca quit Tubbs months ago, and the VT Dems are aggressively pushing for universal healthcare. Oh yeah, and Kanad’s in Tubbs. And I’m still not.

Drop me a line sometime. You know who this is.
